for making Luke look like an ass. He didn’t show up for Dan’s death. Like he didn’t care. That’s just WRONG! He didn’t show up for Haley’s mom’s death either. They make him sound like an uncaring bastard and I HATE THAT! Luke will always be amazing to me and I will ALWAYS love him. I will always…
Uh, I’m sorry… Really? You’re gonna hate on Mark for something as silly as Brucas scenes? The reason Luke didn’t show is because he hasn’t been around to see Dan change, so of course he’s not going to come. No one that watches this show thinks Lucas is heartless. Why does everyone have to hate on Mark for stupid stuff like that? He gave us the show in the first place! SECONDLY, the episode was written by Mike Herro and David Strauss and it was directed by Joe Davola, so why pick on Mark? Seriously…
One Tree Hill was originally supposed to be a feature film called Ravens. Mark Schwahn didn’t want to make a television show - he’d been in features for so long, that he felt that was what this project was meant to be. Someone, I don’t know who, convinced him to give it a shot - that the story was far too big for a two and a half hour movie, that it needed more…and nine years later, I think Mark Schwahn owes whoever that person was quite a lot.
